This work is presented in the live art competition held at the Museum of Fine Arts (Santiago, Chile) in 2005
And the following words describe a little of my intention in this book ...
To understand this work, q must first know that the baby photo or picture is my daughter Gala Bocca, and traces Patricio Bocca digital are mine.
I use the fingerprint of my hands, to show my identity in the work, inescapable symbol of my person, which is made up of several rows and lines, which is engraved in me, and on several tracks seek to shape to an image taken from my daughter who has my footprints in their genes, their emotions, their mentality, keeps track of me, as I did for my parents and they of their own, forming a chain to the origin.
In relation to children can be found in the search for transcendence that the man may be projected through their children, before the inevitable certainty of death. Can this idea make a projection, in relation to the other, there is a relationship of motherhood and fatherhood, while being different from me, the child is a mirror of their parents, in this example is the relation of being free mirror stop being yourself,
